Recording

The overview of the recording techniques used to gather the data from the birds on the Colgate forest, including locations and birds of interest.

Audacity

A guide on how to silence background noise of individual recordings, amplify the song, and cut to show only the song of interest. This manual uses Audacity version 2.1.3 created by the Audacity Team.

Raven

This program is used to help visual the sound files into spectrograms. The spectrograms will show the frequency and intensity of the bird songs over time.
